SDG Night Frankfurt Davos: United for a more Sustainable Future
January 16, 2024. In the context of the World Economic Forum, it is our great pleasure to announce the second edition of the SDG Night Frankfurt-Davos.
From Hawaii to Corfu and Kazakhstan, this year has witnessed devastating wildfire records and in 2023-2024, the strong El Niño weather event is expected to drive further record-breaking global surface temperatures, triggering an unprecedented climate crisis. Amidst this turmoil, we find ourselves at the midpoint of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, set to be achieved by 2030. The reality is stark: only 15% of these vital goals are currently on track.
The mobilization of sustainable capital, innovative solutions and precise policies are paramount in addressing the mounting climate challenges and holding ourselves accountable to ensure a sustainable and prosperous world for current and future generations. However, the window of opportunity is narrowing and the need for swift and collective action to mitigate the climate crises, protect our ecosystems, and improve the lives of millions worldwide has never been more urgent.
INGLOSUS is calling for immediate action and collaboration between a wide range of stakeholders. On the 16th January, we invite leading experts, visionaries and leaders from industry and politics to join our forum and foster valuable discussions for a more sustainable future.
